MOCT Foundation was proud to support last year's The London Open exhibition at Whitechapel Gallery, leaving a footprint and directly engaging in the development of the contemporary arts.

The London Open 2018 brought together some of the most exciting contemporary artists working across the city. There were only three conditions: the entrants must be over the age of 26, a resident in a London borough and only submit work made in the last three years.
This triennial open submission exhibition features 22 artists working across painting, sculpture, performance and video.

The London Open attracts artists who are truly and authentically engaged with their current moment. The artists, selected from a
record-breaking 2600 submissions, engage in the topics of gender,
race, technology and the environment, and most importantly the issues tied in the landscapes of global cities and the impact of urbanisation on human relations.
Artists: Larry Achiampong, Rachel Ara, Gabriella Boyd, Hannah Brown, Rachael Champion, Gary Colclough, George Eksts, Ayan Farah, French & Mottershead, Vikesh Govind, Richard Healy, Des Lawrence, Tom Lock, Céline Manz, Uriel Orlow, Rachel Pimm, Renee So, Alexis Teplin, Elisabeth Tomlinson, Jonathan Trayte, Tom Varley and Andrea Luka Zimmerman.
